1) Go to alexa's official website here.It looks like the picture shown below

2) Click on the "Install Alexa Extension" button highlighted with the red pen in the picture above.

3) You would immediately be redirected to a page that would look like one shown below

4) On the top right corner,you can see the button reading "Add to Chrome" highlighted with the red pen.Click on this button.

5) Clicking the button will bring to you a dialogue box which looks like one shown below

6) Click on "Add" and you are done.You will be seeing a message on the top right corner of your browser which looks like shown below and also an alexa toolbar icon(highlighted with red pen)integrated in your chrome browser.

Simple steps to get this toolbar for Mozilla Firefox

For Firefox Users,the procedure is easy though,yet they have to encounter with some extra steps:

1) Go to alexa's official website here.It looks like the picture shown below

2) Click on the "Install Alexa Toolbar" button highlighted with the red pen in the picture above.

3) You will be redirected to "Alexa Internet Terms of Use Agreement" page which will look like one shown below

4) Click on "Accept and Install" and probably,you would get the message shown below

5) If so,click on allow and you would then see your toolbar being downloaded like shown below

6) After complete download,you would get the software installation message like one shown below

7) Click on "Install Now" and then restart your browser after seeing the message like shown below to complete the final step of installation.
